Let us Introduce Ourselves
" A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another; as I
have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men
know that ye are My disciples, if ye have love one to another." John
13:34-35
When you visit Church of the Faith, even the first time, you will
feel that you are "home" and that you have "always been here." This is
what our guests say to us time and again. At Church of Faith we are a
family and we love one another because we care about each other.
The ministry here is two-fold. First, we are evangelistic; we have
Christ's passion for souls. Last year we started 16 new churches all
over the world. We help support several missionaries across the
continent. We also train and send young pastors to begin new churches.
Second, we are educational; this is home based training for the
ministry. Through our seasoned pastoral staff and our anointed
teachers, we help believers find their place in the church and fulfill
the destiny God has given them.
We have a dedicated and effective intercessory prayer ministry. The
focus of their faith and the desire of their heart, at God's throne, is
that the Book of Acts will continue being the model and the experience
for Christ's body in the Church of Faith.
Pastor Jerry says, " I am not the Pastor; The Holy Spirit is the
Pastor of Church of Faith!" It was the Lord, through the Holy Spirit,
that "added" souls to the first church. So, we trust the Holy Spirit to
bring to us those He has chosen to become a part of the work here.
We are excited and you will be excited when you share with us the
glorious way God is moving, touching, changing, and setting free by His
Spirit in our midst. Heaven does come down and glory does fill each
soul every time we gather at the river and drink of its abundant life.
Senior Pastors Jerry and Ruth Johnston thank you for visiting the
Church of Faith website. Our welcome mat is out, come home, your place
is waiting for you.
